What Can You do in Your Own Business to Establish Yourself as an Expert?

What is one of the fastest and easiest ways to establish yourself as an expert in your own business niche with the least amount of financial investment?

Many people believe that the way you establish yourself as an expert is to write a book.

However, unless you are already established or have a ghost writer and staff, writing a book takes A LOT of time, energy, effort and investment.

Creating a teleseminar pilot program is a different way to quickly establish credibility, as well as leverage your time and energy so that you can have a powerfully streamlined and efficient marketing channel system.

To start with doing something like this in your own business, it’s important to begin with exploring the values of creating and implementing a pilot program.

A pilot program is a complimentary, four to six week program that is created to serve the people who fit your ideal client profile and who are going to give you testimonials to use for supporting your program.

This program will become the foundation for your various marketing channels.

Pilot Programs can establish you quickly as an expert.  Publishing a book is not the only way to become an expert.  I was able to position myself as an expert based on the programs I have created.

It then becomes something like a reverse engineering process; the workbooks that you create for your programs can easily become mainstream books.

Creating programs is one of the easiest and quickest ways to create a product and generate revenue quickly.

For me, I quickly determined that teaching feels easy, and writing feels much more cumbersome.   One of my brilliances is that I reverse engineer things and that helps me leverage my time and manage my emotional energies.

Therefore, I determined that the easiest way for me to write books (or even blogs!) was to base them on the programs I have created.  That way I don’t have a long, drawn out process of writing material that I haven’t experienced yet.

I have also not spent my time trying to start with articulating my thoughts in written form.  I explore it in spoken language first, and then I can find the language needed to express it in writing more easily and effortlessly.

I talk a lot about the fact that a Spiritualpreneur is someone that works on both an Inner and an Outer level.  So as you consider the possibilities of establishing yourself as an expert in this way – think about these potential Inner and Outer values that you can see here:

  • You actually activate a greater sense of confidence in yourself immediately. Doing this causes you to instantly identify the gaps for your clients, and why you believe the potential members would be a good match for this program.
  • By creating a pilot program, you have the experience of being in the now – not planning it for the future.  When you labor to write materials ahead of time, you are future-oriented, thinking things like, “Oh gosh, when will this be done?” or “Maybe sometime, when I will teach this”.

You don’t want to create the content of the class ahead of time.  You do want to create promotional information that would attract people to want to be a part of the program.

This is activating you and it puts you in the here and now and in the emotional vibration that you are fully doing it now. And the best part is that you can manage your energies as you are going along; you are actually creating all kinds of positive evidences for yourself to continue to encourage you along the way!

Now, think about some of the Outer level values in creating something like this:

  • This is a great way for you to leverage your time! You are creating a program that easily turns into products, gifts, bonuses and the foundation for paid teleseminars or workshops.
  • The product can turn into gifts that you may offer on your website and in Joint Venture opportunities. They may become bonus gifts and offers for future opportunities and partnerships.

For example, I presented a class on the Order Form to the Universe.  I had it transcribed and formatted, and then placed my photo on it.   This was then a bonus gift that attracted new ideal students into my Empowered Spiritual Life Coaching promotional program.

  • Creating an outline pre-paves the way and makes it more likely for you to take the next step.
  • Providing a pilot program as a gift will gain you the exchange of energy that comes from the testimonials and feedback you will receive for use in your promotional materials.

Sounds pretty great, doesn’t it?

I’d like to share more with you over the upcoming days of really getting things together and setting up this program for your business, but I encourage you to just think about these things right now.

Really let them get into your head and your heart and just activate possibilities for you and your business.  The stronger you have something like this established at an energy level, the better you will be able to implement it on a practical level.

A “Spiritualpreneur” – I like the concept and the name. We feed our physical bodies, our mental brains – and yet it seems our souls, sometimes, are a hollow shell.

You have a nice sense of business savvy. :)

This is really timely for me as I’m researching to get some inspiration for blog content. The seminar idea is a great one because not only do you connect with your target audience, offer something valuable for free but also get something to write about that is fresh and grounded in practice rather than theoretical musings which are very common in every niche. I like it!
